Linde Dumolein (1995,BE) builds an artistic practice with very personal plastic skills: perishable sculptures, researching textures, the use of building materials, utensils and food ingredients.
The different materials are used from the beginning in the creation of three-dimensional sculptures, performances and video works.
She likes everyday objects and transforms them into sculptures. Her works are an expression of a moment in which the caring construction can easily be exchanged for decay. She's not afraid to let work live and plays with it. Her sculptures and performative work go deeper into a translation of recognizable actions and forms of labour (such as kneading dough).
